The truth is, veggie samurai came out, and somebody thought "I can make this better" and made special blades and cool backgrounds, and thats what got fruit ninja off the ground before veggie samurai, thus giving the appeal that FN came first even though it was merely more popular. Today there are hundreds of rip offs of fruit ninja, but only one rip off of veggie samurai, and thats fruit ninja itself.
